Purple Print returns with the fourth instalment of its V.A. series, delivering four tightly coiled minimal house tools built for club soundsystems. Praymond opens with 'Rue Des Solitaires', a smoky, late-night roller driven by crisp percussion and low-slung bounce—at 127 BPM, it sits right in the groove pocket. Nils Weimann & Marc Philipp follow with the slightly slower 'Yami', where taut rhythms and atmospheric detailing create suspended tension. On the flip, Phill Prince's 'Transit' returns to 127 with skippy hats and fluid, no-frills arrangement that keeps dancers locked in. Closing the set, Liro's 'Distance' leans into dubby textures and understated swing, rounding out the release with meditative energy.
