Essen-based label The Third Room returns with four fresh techno cuts from artists spanning Naarm, Berlin, Lisbon, Bangkok and Brighton.
Taking its name from philosopher Homi K. Bhabha’s idea of the “Third Space” — where different cultures meet, interact and create something new — the label’s Curation series brings that same approach to techno, connecting artists and sounds from across the globe.
D.Dan and Rene Wise take care of the A-side, moving between stripped-back bleeps and deep, textured grooves. On the flip, Connor Wall delivers a twisting, hypnotic workout before Bangkok Techno pioneer Sunju Hargun & DJ Maria close things out with a dose of driving acid.
