Roland Leesker reimagines Inner City's 1992 classic "Pennies From Heaven" as a driving house weapon. Founded by Kevin Saunderson—one of the legendary Belleville Three and architect of Detroit techno—Inner City defined electronic music with global hits like "Big Fun" and "Good Life". Leesker's remix strips away the original's character and rebuilds it from the ground up: a heavy, relentless TR-909 groove anchors the foundation, while carefully layered loops and elements from the original gradually emerge, creating hypnotic depth. The result is a floor-focused tool designed for peak-hour sets and extended DJ journeys.
